Returns & Exchanges

At Clarks, we want you to be as confident in your purchase as we are in our products. If you are not fully satisfied, simply return or exchange your unworn or unused item(s) in its original condition and packaging within 60 days of purchase for a refund or replacement item.

Once we have received and processed your return, we will issue a refund back to the original form of payment, or if you have opted for an exchange, your new order will be shipped to you.

Start a Return or Exchange

If you would like to mail your online purchase back to Clarks for a refund or exchange, simply follow the steps below to produce your pre-paid return label or QR code for in-store printing:

1. Start a return or exchange here.

2. Enter your order number (ex. 1003012345) and billing zip code.

3. Select the item(s) that you would like to return or exchange.

4. Select the reason for the return.

5. If you are returning an item for an exchange, please select your new size or fit.

6. Select your preferred shipping method and drop off location.

7. Enter the required details and submit your return.

What happens next?

Upon submitting your return we will immediately email your pre-paid return shipping label and QR code. Then follow the instructions below for the option that is most convenient for you:

Option 1 - Use the mobile QR code (no printer required):

1. Pack the item(s) you wish to return into a single package along with the packing slip that came with your order.

2. Bring your package to the drop off location you selected during the return process.

3. Have a staff member scan the QR code that we’ve emailed from your smartphone, and they will do the rest.

Option 2 - Print the pre-paid return shipping label:

1. Download and print the pre-paid return shipping label that was emailed to you.

2. Pack the item(s) you wish to return into a single package along with the packing slip that came with your order.

3. Securely attach the pre-paid return shipping label to the outside of the package.

4. Drop your package off at the location you selected during the return process.

Once your return has arrived back at Clarks, we will issue your refund, or ship your exchange order.

All returns are charged $5.00 unless returning an item back for an exchange. This will be deducted from your refund amount when processed at our Returns Center. This charge does not apply to faulty items.

Refunds

Refunds for online orders will process after we receive and inspect your unworn item(s) at our warehouse. You will receive an email confirming your return has been processed. Refunds will be credited to your original form of payment. Once processed, refunds should reflect on your account within 10 business days. Please retain your return tracking number until your refund appears on your statement. If this time has lapsed without receiving your refund, please contact our Customer Care team.

Original shipping charges and any applicable taxes on the original shipping charges will not be refunded. When using our pre-paid return shipping label a $5.00 shipping charge will be deducted from the refund total (along with any applicable state and local sales taxes on that charge).  You may also return your online purchase to a Clarks retail store near you FREE of charge for an immediate refund.

Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase cannot be returned online or in store.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your order for a different size or fit, you can do so FREE of charge. Simply start your exchange here. Enter your return item, and the item you’d like to exchange it for, send your package back and we’ll ship your new size as soon as your original item is received at our warehouse.

Original item(s) must be received at our warehouse within 14 days or your exchange order will be cancelled. If your original item(s) is received after the exchange order has been cancelled we will refund you for the original item(s) upon successful inspection.

Exchanges are not available for Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and APO/FPO addresses at this time. However, you may return your original item(s) for a refund and place a new order for the product you would like.

Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase cannot be exchanged online or in store.

Klarna returns

Online orders paid for using Klarna need to be returned to our distribution center where you will be refunded to your original form of payment. Online orders placed using Klarna cannot be returned to store for a refund or exchange, or gift card. For online orders paid for using Klarna, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. All refunds can take up to 14 days to show in your bank account.

Faulty Returns

Faulty goods within 60 days of purchase date can be logged through our Returns Portal

We will require the following information to process your request:

  • Email Address
  • Name
  • Order Number
  • Description of defect
  • Uploaded photographs of the product (please ensure any defects are clearly shown):
  • Sides of shoes
  • Front & back of shoes
  • Sole and inside of shoes (please ensure product code information is shown)

Once we have received and reviewed your request, we will be in touch outlining the next steps.

US territories & military addresses

Your return will default to be shipped via USPS. Print out your pre-paid USPS return shipping label and securely attach it to the outside of the package. Drop your package off at any United States Postal Service location including your own mailbox, your local Post office or postal collection boxes. You may also schedule a free postal carrier pick up with USPS. Exchanges are not available for US territories and military addresses at this time. However, you may return your item for a refund and place a new order for the product you would like.

In-Store Returns & Exchanges

You can return your online order to a Clarks retail store for an exchange or for an immediate refund. Our store staff can assist you in finding an alternative product in the correct size. Please remember to bring your proof of purchase, such as an Order Confirmation email (either printed or on your mobile/tablet device), the packing slip that shipped with your order, or an invoice/receipt. You must have the credit/debit card used to make the original purchase.

PayPal and Klarna orders cannot be returned to a store location and must be returned online.

Purchases originally made in-store must be returned at a store location.
